Hello and welcome to the Orange County Utilities Department!  The Utilities Department provides drinking water, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, garbage collection, garbage disposal and recycling services for unincorporated Orange County.

We invite you to become more familiar with the Orange County Utilities Department. We feel it is important to provide you, our customers, with 24-hour access to the information you seek most and have organized our web pages to help you easily find that information.

Below are links to the divisions that make up the Utilities Department should you wish to search by division for the information you are looking for. 

Be sure to visit the box on the right side of this page for important news, announcements and other important information of special interest to our customers, including a link to the Utilities Online Account. The Utilities Online Account allows you to view your account information, make an online payment, terminate your service and take advantage of other online services. 

Construction Division – The Utilities Construction Division completes the construction phase of projects within the Orange County Utilities service areas.

Customer Service Division – The Customer Service Division serves as the primary point-of-contact for water, wastewater and reclaimed water customers regarding service issues, meter reading, billing and collection of revenue.

Development Engineering Division – The Utilities Development Engineering Division, formerly the Development Review Section of the Utilities Engineering Division, serves the needs of the development community within Orange County and is involved in many aspects of the development process.

Engineering Division – The Utilities Engineering Division provides master utilities planning; manages the Capital Improvement Program for water, wastewater and reclaimed water projects within the Orange County Utilities service areas; maintains the Department's Geographic Information System (GIS); and manages the hydraulic models of the County's pressure pipe systems.

Fiscal & Administrative Support Division – The Fiscal & Administrative Support Division provides internal support to the Director's Office and the other divisions within the Utilities Department in the areas of financial management, accounting, warehouse and procurement services, information technologies, public information, safety administration and human resources.

Solid Waste Division – The Solid Waste Division is responsible for providing efficient and effective solid waste management services in Orange County. Orange County operates the largest publicly owned and operated landfill in Florida. In addition to the Landfill, the division operates household hazardous waste facilities and transfer stations. This division is responsible for managing the residential garbage, yard waste and recycling collection program for single-family homes in unincorporated Orange County.

Water Division – The Water Division provides the drinking water supply for unincorporated Orange County, the Town of Windermere and portions of several other municipalities in Orange County through the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, transmission systems and distribution systems.

Water Reclamation Division – The Water Reclamation Division provides service to unincorporated Orange County and portions of several municipalities in Orange County through the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection and transmission systems, pump stations, water reclamation facilities and reclaimed water systems.
